AN ARTIST

My fascination with branding and advertising began while attending art lectures at the Weiden + Kennedy auditorium in Portland, OR. W+K had let the Portland Institute of Contemporary Art hold meetings there after hours. The space was intriguing - everything from the gigantic black and white employee headshots to an obscure human-sized bird's nest.

I began researching branding and discovered how artful and creative advertising could actually be. Being an artist myself, the thought of my work holding integrity and potentially influencing mass amounts of people was alluring.
